What is the RG?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The RG is the document that proves the identity of a Brazilian citizen. It is issued by state identification institutes, usually linked to public security departments. The RG number is unique per state, meaning that the same person can have more than one RG number if it has been issued by different units of the federation - which should change with the new unified model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
